  • This policy is to inform you on how we, Pups, Purrs and Fur, collect, store and use your personal data.
  • In order to provide you with pet services we need to collect personal details to ensure we have adequate and appropriate information to fulfil our duties. This will include owners personal contact information, address, emergency contact information and information regarding your pets, such as medical details, behaviour etc.
  • This enables us to contact you regarding service provision, e.g. arranging drop off and collection times, queries regarding pet behaviour or needs, emergencies, updates on pets whilst they are staying with us etc.
  • We hold your personal data on record to ensure we have an audit trail for our financial records and business practices, e.g. abiding by local authority license requirements, fulfilling business insurance requirements.
  • As detailed on the Pups, Purrs & Fur Booking Form, we request permission to use images of your pet/s on our social media pages. If permission is granted images may be used during provision of services or at any time in the future.
  • Your information is stored in both our electronic database and paper format in a secured environment and can only be accessed by authorised persons. Your information is not shared with third parties
  • All data collected will remain in our possession in electronic or paper format or both until a request is made by the client/s named within that record to be removed.
  • By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you. You can also ask for it to be corrected or erased and you can ask for us to give you a copy of the information.
