About me….
For those of you that know me, you will agree that I am absolutely mad about animals. I’m the type of person that wants to stroke every dog & fuss every cat.
It comes from a childhood of having loads of pets (and a slightly potty mum), in fact, I think all of the pets we had were rescue animals. We’ve had dogs of many breeds, cats galore and more wild birds than I can remember. These included, to name a few, a crow with a broken wing, a starling that was tame and two house sparrows that had the freedom of the living room, which always got a few raised eyebrows when we had visitors.
This trait followed me into adulthood, I have always rescued wild birds,and had loads of animals of my own, including chickens, cats & goats.
It made sense for me to work in a field that I am passionate about, I consider myself very lucky that I have had the opportunity to do this.
So if you find yourself needing someone to take care of your pet while you are on holiday, in hospital, away on business, or if you need someone to pop in and let the dog out, feed the cat or check on the rabbit while you are at work or simply out for the day, please give me a call or send me a message, I would love to help.
Well this is it, I finally did it!
Its been a very long time in the planning, or should I say thinking about it, stage. But it is finally here, I am now up and running and taking bookings.
There are a few niggly bits I have to work out, but it will come into place very soon.
The next stage is to get my backside into gear and start work on putting the planning application in for the cattery pens. Hoping its not going to be too complicated, but we’ll soon find out.
I am already enrolled on the grooming course, I’m really looking forward to that, cant wait to get my teeth into it.
I will also be going to puppy training class with Ralph (pictured), courtesy of Lewis and Chloe, it should be fun 🙂
